YOGA

Every morning: One hour outdoor Yin Yoga.
Start the day in a calm and nourishing way with joy and well-being in your body. Through long, gentle yoga stretches you “elasticity”, calmness and body awareness. Yin Yoga improves and hydrates the body’s connective tissue, helping the body to become more supple and with less pain.

HIKING

Mindful Hikes: Three hikes in the area (10-15 km) every other day, with mindfulness as a theme. Each hike has its own theme:

  • Mountain Power. We connect to the mountains of the area and the energy and strength they represent.
  • Tree Grounding. We strengthen our grounding through the trees and the grounding that the tree trunk and crown represent.
  • “From Sense to Nature Wonder”. Focusing on sharpening our senses and making spaces to experience and be in nature with curious and sensory wonder.

WORK OUT

Work Out In Nature: Out of the gym and into the nature!

To times, one hour of dynamic strength and pulse training (every other day)using nature as a training space.
We use our own body and what nature invites (e.g. hills, trees, branches and stones) to train the whole body.
It will be both fun and hard 🙂

DAY 1

Yin Yoga

Coah: Ulla Uldahl

Breakfast: Buffet

Workshop 1: Nature’s impact on people.

Coah: Mikkel Christian Larsen

Most of us dream of a life of joy, fullfillment and meaning. A life where the important things occupy our daily lives. Unfortunately that is not the case for most people. We live stressful lives in unnatural surroundings and spend far too much time on things that we ultimately don’t find important or actually bring us joy. The workshop offers a methodical review of the biological knowledge behind the science, that a closer connection to nature makes us healthier, happier, more creative and empathetic, ans shows how living in and with more nature can help us to reach our full potential as human beings.

Lunch: Local food and introduction to the culture of the Pyrenees.

Afternoon: Hiking in nature – Theme: Mountain Power.

Relaxation with sauna & jacuzzi.

Dinner: Food as medicine: dinner consisting of “superfoods”, and introduction to how to organize a natural healthy diet most appropriately.

DAY 2

Yin Yoga

Coah: Ulla Uldahl

Breakfast: Buffet

Workshop 2: People & nature.

Coach: Mickey Gjerris

The green transformation of society goes through a green transformation of ourselves. The green transformation of ourselves involves putting thoughts and words to who we are, where we belong and living in active awareness of where we want to go. No one doubts that we need nature for our physical survival. Food, water and air are for everyone. But if we see nature only as a resource to meet our physical needs, we are missing out on a lot. For nature can also be seen as a community we are bound to through millions of years of evolutionary development. A community that provides our minds and souls with experiences, challenges and a home. What might happen if we began to understand human beings as part of a larger community rather than the self-crowned king of the world. Will we find a place from which we can live with hope and purpose? The workshop puts into words and thoughts the crises of nature, the role of man and the philosophy of nature in a new understanding of ourselves.

Coach: Mikkel Christian Larsen

Many of us have a dream to live a different life than the one we are living now. Many of us walk around with unfulfilled dreams and potentials because of social norms, irrational attitudes about the world around us, the paycheck we are enslaved to, and the misconception of “The Good Life”. If the dream of a different life is to be realized, many of our encoded notions must be overcome. Mikkel will tell us about his personal journey from a busy and “succesfull” marketing job in the heart of Copenhagen to a mountain life in the Pyrenees. Mikkel shares the steps he took to get off the hamster wheel and live out his dream of a more peaceful life in harmony with nature.

Workshop 5: Turtle Thoughts - Banal truths about birth, death and the incredible life in between

Coach: Mickey Gjerris

We live with stories big and small in our lives to endure it all. There are our own little stories of meaningful moments, human relationships and interesting tasks that for a while made it all make sense. And then there are the big stories that we put ourselves into: Stories about God, the cosmos, species, family and ideologies. All of these stories are constantly threatened by the meaninglessness of death and chance, making it a challenge to maintain meaningfullness. This session is based on the book: Turtle Thoughts (2017) ans seeks to remind us of what we tend to forget, but which can make life bearable.
